Introduzione
Giving an oral presentation is a daunting prospect for some.
Even the more confident can find presenting a difficult skill to master.
However, we must all stand and deliver at some stage, whether to share ideas formally or informally with colleagues, to help pitch for projects or to present new data to key opinion leaders.
There is no substitute for giving presentations, and the more you give, the more likely you are to improve. However, we can all benefit from spending time specifically focusing on good preparation, good use of voice and body language, having a strategy for dealing with questions and confronting any presentation nerves. We deal with these elements in the first half of the workshop.
However, an aim of this workshop is also to provide participants with a key training technique to improve presentation skills: a ‘safe’ environment in which they have the opportunity to deliver a presentation, receive constructive feedback and listen to others giving presentations and provide them with constructive feedback.
During this highly practical second half of the workshop, each participant will therefore can deliver a short presentation (3 minutes) with up to 6 slides prepared before the workshop.
Participants and workshop leader will give constructive feedback.
