Food Supplements in the EU: Advanced Regulatory Assessment
Assessing a food supplement requires connecting information on ingredients, formulation, labelling and marketing communication. When that information is incomplete or a product sits close to the boundary between categories, regulatory review calls for critical judgement and a structured approach.
Building on a working knowledge of EU food supplement regulations, this advanced course focuses on applying requirements to concrete product assessments. Participants will examine potential compliance issues, identify where additional information is needed and discuss possible actions to address the findings.
Practical examples and case studies lead into an interactive workshop in which participants review a complete food supplement package, bringing together formulation, labelling, claims and marketing materials. The emphasis is on explaining assessment findings and identifying appropriate next steps.
